Wave VMS Pressurized Pre-Filter -

The self-cleaning Wave Pre-filter utilizes your ponds filter pump with flow rates up to 150 gallons per minute to solve your pre filtering needs. Suspended crud sticks to the Micron Screen until they are sprayed off automatically . The heavy debris drops to the bottom of the sump along with all the other waste and crud awaiting the simple drain off.

Three sizes of filters and two different micro-screens to choose from. Each pre filter has a viewing port with a flexible cover to avoid sun exposure internally.

Left is the VMS Pre filter S (36 inches tall)

The VMS pre filter uses no additional pumps or electricity. The water entering this filter must pass through the 500 Micron Screen in order to continue.

Included with the VMS Pre filter is the spray bar to keep the internal screen continuously clean when it turns. The spray bar forces one gallon per minute to perform this continuous cleaning process.

Now that the water is pre filtered, the crud remains behind. This benefits your ponds biological filter and improves its ability to perform better now that the crud has been filtered out.

Pre filtering out the crud benefits your filtering system in requiring less back washing and greatly improving its efficiency.
